Raised in a musical family, Bridget started playing the cello at age 6. At age 8 she fell in love with the guitar, after hearing John Williams. She won a scholarship to the Guildhall School of Music and completed her studies at the Royal Academy of Music. After a number of years of performing and teaching as a professional classical guitarist, Bridget fulfilled a lifelong passion and took up the electric guitar. She won a national Blues guitar competition for Total Guitar Magazine and spent two months study at Frank Gambale's LAMA: Los Angeles Music Academy. Professional work currently includes: Head of Guitar at Radley College, tutor for the International Guitar Foundation, columnist for Guitar Techniques magazine and external examiner for the Royal College of Music. In 2006 Bridget spent six months filming the BBC1 documentary 'Play it Again' in which she teaches the electric guitar to Bill Oddie which was aired in May 2007. Bridget appeared on the Feb 2007 DVD issue of Guitar Techniques magazine as classical guitar specialist and gives a highly acclaimed lesson and performance of 'Recuerdos de la Alhambra' by Francisco Tarrega.
